Hey Toastmasters,

Thanks everyone who came to our send-off for Anuj.  It was a nice way to get people together to say good-bye as well as to expose some new people to the mystical ways of the toastmaster.  We’re looking at having our next meeting this Friday, at the normal time 12-1.  We have a lot of open positions to fill and this is a great chance for some of our members who weren’t very involved last year to jump back in.   None of the roles require much preparation and they are all fun.  Come on, share a joke, or fun new vocab word.  Here’s the tentative itinerary for this Friday’s meeting.

I’ll do a better job of assigning roles at the end of this meeting so we don’t end up with so many open positions before the next meeting.  It seems like things tapered off over the summer with the move and everything, lets get some momentum for our club in FY11!
